Howdy!
I completely forgot I ordered this little gem a couple of weeks ago from BG, the mighty cc3D ';Atom'; FC.  It';s a fully functioning CC3D controller, but a bit tiny, and for not much pounds from the one and only Bang Good China Plc.
Not only is it small and extremely cheap, but comes with all the connectors you need, plus an anti vibe mount, and some kind of antenna mount thingy, oh, and it';s even got it';s own little see thru case to boot!

I';m lovin'; it baby.

Bloody hell it';s raining cheap chips here.

Yeah, absolutely!  I think I';ll use it with a spare AR6115e I found in my draw, although the antennae mount is obviously for a Frsky Rx, having longer wires of course.
I like the case, although of course, if you needed it ultra small, the case could be discarded (for a micro for instance).

Sure thing Forest, but I did hook it up to my PC yesterday, and it all checks out sensor-wise, in fact, I';d forgotten how easy the cc3d';s are to setup, as I';ve been grappling with Naze & Flip 32+ of late, which have seemed a little more ';tweaky';?  If you know what I mean?

Yes, you can of course use cleanflight if that';s what yr used to, but i would recommend trying op first, since the ';New vehicle setup wizard'; was introduced, it';s become even easier, walking you through every stage of the install, both the multi and the radio inputs, calibrating the tx & esc';s on the way.  It really is a doddle, even for an old  crypto-Luddite like me!

Got to agree, I think OpenPilot has an excellent GUI and setup wizard.

just in the process of giving naze/cleanflight a go after being with openpilot for a few months.

the above statement is very true!

Bazzer, I';ve seen you flying your 250 with CC3D, very impressed, I wouldn';t mind a screen grab of your settings please?  I will try cleanflight at some point, as i would like to standardise my firmwares across all my open source stuff (the ageing memory is not what it was, and it';s a pain to ';learn'; it all over again!).  THat said, I';m totally happy with OP.

Cheers

Smudge

Looks good just ordered the little Atom after finding this forum, I've been struggling with the Naze32 for about two weeks of online reading and pestering people I know and going mad as this is my first look at quads and FPV.

Trying to connect the Naze to my iMac was very painful and never achieved. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Interesting forum :beer2:

Hi Smudge, well, the atom will connect, as i use an imac myself.  I should say here, that i also dual boot to win7 for stuff that is not compatible, or refuses to work, at least you have two chances!
I tend to use win7 for naze/flip boards, but mac should work, it';s simply browser based gui
