Tbh I've been really busy, not had much time to fly anything and with conditions being crap, hopefully in the new year I'll have some new projects on the go, mostly to do with HAM radio, will certainly fly again soon. FTR I hate FB too   :D Merry Christmas

rewiring motrs?

any one know if its poss to put new wires in a x4 motor? i know the are cheap but fixing one is even better  :laugh:

In the hanger: Husban X4, Syma X3, 
DIY wooden H quad 450
Emax night hawk 250 low rider, 4s
Qav 250 4s
Fat bee 180 4s


thats going to be a fiddly tedious job..
i like nothing better than rewiring my motors,the turnigy 1811 are fiddly enough..
good luck with it if its possible..
dont grow up,just buy bigger toys!!!!


Problem is that the end caps of the coreless motors are not the most robust things ever created

Well from what I can tell with a Google (got to love the g) it';s probably not going to be poss. I';ll have a go anyway  :hmm:

Yes Kilby I';ve read that they are a bit soft  perhaps push them out? I';ve seen a mod to stop them pushing out when you put props on but that was old.
