Hi

I am new to quads but been around CP helis for a couple of years,

Just been putting together the Emax kit, which I have to say was a pleasure due to the great quality of the parts, but the tuning of the PID';s is well like black magic to me, and this is where I am a little stuck,

I am using the stock settings for one of the models in the drop down list on GCS and that gets me close, but I still get a slight amount of wobble and a sort of shimmy when I go into a piro fast,

I am running the stock kit with 2204 motors and 6030 diatone props,

I wonder if anyone has their config for PID';s that is running a similar or same set up as mine, and would be willing to share the settings,

thanks in advance for any help given

Hi Slobberdog,

I have exactly the same setup and I';m also struggling with the PID tuning.  In the GCS software I selected QAV250, which will get the Nighthawk flying, but as soon as you try moving forwards it just takes off too fast. Either that or it could be me not being use to it!
