Little known fact, if you push a runner bean seed up your nose the moisture will cause it to germinate, and expand. You wont get any beans though just  two black eyes. :o

Finally got my spares from HK for HAL

Final bill wasn';t too bad, two motors, one carbon prop, landing  gear and dome...  total bill @ £30

Have removed my ImmersionRC FPV gear from HAL,  as it use is for mostly camera work with the gimbal, so have installed my Chineese 5.8ghz video TX and a cheaper 500tvl camera.  This will allow me to run a ground station for framing shots etc..   new camera is 5v so had to install another UBEC for it.. and I just hot glued the camera on above the gimbal. Left the Mimnim OSD on, just for voltage monitoring.
Too wet for full test.. but all looks okay..

Any chance of seeing a piccy of the Escs in place between the plates without the dome on the HAL?  It';s driving me nuts figuring it out :banghead:
Might be because I have Turnigy Plush 25A types and  maybe bigger than your types.
Let's be careful out there.

That is indeed a sweet looking quad.

I have only ever had one quad with circular booms - unless you get them exactly straight it is another parameter that you have to watch out for in getting your quad stable - which can be a pain and one i avoid by going for square booms!

Its HK F30a';s I have and they are just squashed in between the plates, in between the arms..  was a bit fiddly..  will post some pics later for you.

The arms have some holes that slot into the mounts on the centre plate...  the motor mounts aren';t keyed though.. so you need to make sure they are all horizontal. The mounts are very good and once positioned wont moved... but yeah a bit more to line up than square arms

Thank you very much for the photo.  Yes, that';s how I figured it  - with a  bit of manouvering of wires I should get them in ok.  Just waiting for the extra wire to arrive.
Think I might be able to place some anti stat sponge under them to protect them.  (It';s good stuff for covering barometers as well..thin and lets the pressure in.)
