After damaging my TBS plates during a modification I have acquired some whitesheep plates thanks to a forum member  ;).
I am now stuck with a decision I suppose only I can make but I would like some suggestions.
I would like more flight time and have a number of ways of doing it.
I have thought of using the rct800 long arm conversion with low kV motors and big props.. (Been played to death) and too expensive.
Or an x8 version of above with 8 x 980kv sunnysky motors and graupner 9x5 props.
Or an x8 with standard arms, same motor and prop combo as above.
I like the idea of a long arm x8 build but is it overkill for what I need?
I can imagine the smaller x8 being more nimble but less stable but slightly more flight times and the larger x8 vice versa?

Just doing the same i.e. Rebuilding using Whitesheep frame plates
It';s nice frame if you keep things simple but as I';m discovering, if you want to load with gimbal osd n the trimmings then space is Tight! Also if you want to lob in  a 4s lipo then it will need to slide in further into the frame. This means having to move the fc forward especially if it';s a naza with large connectors getting in the way. Still it';s a challenge :)
