Bluetooth connection issues

I';ve got a bluetooth (BT) module attached to my cc3d.  I have successfully paired it with my laptop and the red light stopped flashing and gone steady. The problem I am facing, is that I cannot get the Bluetooth module to receive or transmit data. I am currently running the 14.10 firmware on the cc3d. Tried removing the USB cable and power cycling but no luck so far  :banghead: Would I need to restart GCS too? Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Hi mate, is your baud rate equal on both? (9600).  I';ve got one myself, but never used in anger, but did have a poke around at the time.

Think mine is set to 5600 or something like that. I';m using my mac to connect but on my debian lappy at the mo.

Have a read of at that wiki, it depends on how your setup is configured and to the baud rate to use with your hardware, you may have to try some of the combo';s mentioned into your GCS.

I have followed the Terminal config from the wiki disconnected the USB etc etc and still nothing. Only a steady red light  :banghead:

Getting to the point where I might just rip it off the quad and have done with it.

Try setting the baudrate to

Baudrate : 115200

GET IN ::). I already did that but its working now, although it keeps dropping out every now and then - maybe a refresh rate who knows. Going to try connecting to my Tab3 and see how it goes. cheers bro  ::)  :beer2:

We';ll need to change the baud rate back down to stop the drop outs. It needs an adapter (which i happen to have ::) )

I can confirm that the Android app is quite simply.... A waste of time! And from the comments on Google Play - dont bother! Seems there';s a bit of issue not only with the app but also the different teams of coders  :whistling:
