Ok no probs, IM using the one off here anyway, it was more the fail safes I was interested in, what should I run and how do I set it up?

Hi Paul,

Unfortunately, the current MultiWii 2.1 firmware doesn';t support auto landing failsafe for Spektrum receivers as the spectrum uses its own failsafe which doesn';t bring the throttle value below the 998 threshold for executing the failsafe auto landing. I personally wouldn';t fly without a failsafe so I';ve moved the MultiWii development code from the latest development release into the MutliWii 2.1 release. I have already uploaded this code on a seperate link on a posting. If you look at the code I have done and compare it to the latest dev, it is easy to follow and see how it works. I have flown around 4 times with it so far and no problems. Let me know if you need more info.

On my DX8 if you go to bind it up, remove the bind plug from the receiver when you have powered it up and then put the DX8 in the mode you want like RTH, then turn it on holding the bind button.

So when you turn off the DX8 or lose signal it will automatically go into RTH mode or what ever you set it as.

This is what it did with mine.

Here is a settings file I have worked on for a smooth very level quadcopter, you have to load it in MultiWiiconf. Let me know if I actually did it right.
Thanks, DJDave
