Whippeee! Good News... I had my first outdoor quad flight today and I';m glad to say all went well. I was sooo excited when I took off and even more excited when I landed. The weather was cold, my hands were freezing and the snow came down a few minutes later. I';m now planning on ironing out some of the minor adjustments, practicing more and getting used to some of the other features like position hold and return to home. Thanks to all of you for your help getting it built and undoubtedly I will be calling upon you again!  ::).

I am a firm believer in flight sims and I';ve probably done about five hours on the sim before taking to the skies.

Brilliant Stef - great flying too - just goes to prove... perseverance pays  ~~ ... and now on to your next project... a hex or octocopter maybe??

bunnygirl80

Hi,

The PID settings I used were P = 5.8 and D = 24 on Pitch and Roll.
