Hi Paul,

When I did my CN-06 I had to remove the MultiWii and NAV board out of the equation and connect the GPS directly to the FTDI adaptor. You do have to update as the standard GPS module communicates at 9600 baud and you need to change it to 11500 for it to be compatible with the NAV/MultiWii. All the programming is done via the u-box u-center software which you can download from the u-blox website. http://www.u-blox.com/en/evaluation-tools-a-software/u-center/u-center.html Download version 7.02. I had to make a cable so that the four wires from the GPS went to four of the six connections on your FTDI board with the TX and RX crossed over. All sounds complicated, but it works and I now have a GPS signal and lock. 1) download u-Center 2) make the cable 3) connect and upload the code.

Hope this helps,

Stef

Im taking it this is the crius AIOP v1.1 if it is then you don';t need the nav board and you don';t need to flash the gps at all as the multi wii code and the megapirate code send setup instructions to the gps through the serial port, you only have to flash the gps for lower spec flight controllers where there are no com ports and the gps has to connect via the i2c bus, version 2.1 of multi wii has to have a patch applied for this to work properly, there is a pre setup /patched version of multi wii 2.1 available for download from the forum in the crius AIOP section  ~~
