I just see that some do and some dont

Have you noticed any problems with not removing them ?

I have 30A Simon K ESC from RCTimer.

Cheers

Yes apparently so, I can';t remember the specific reason, something to do with the VU having it';s own BEC IIRC, but I have disonnected ALL my "red" wires.

Mine are connected  :blink do i have to remove them? I have never heard of this.

It was one of the first things I was advised to do, if I can find the reason why post i';ll link here

I just did some research myself and it seems people have gotten this wrong. It is correct if you are using some of the other types of flight controllers but in the case of the Naza flight controller DJI have made it only to use the red power wire in the M1 position hence all the others are not active. I guess thats why DJI does not say we should do so either.
Anyone have any contrary ideas?

Couldn';t find the original advice, but I have ALL the red wires disconnected on mine. DONT cut, just disconnect from the connector, and heatshrink for safety.

I am really interested to hear why guys, i hope its just not an urban myth :help:
