Hi & Hello
Total newbie (again) Hope you guys
can help been scratching my head for days,
problem is Mission Planner does not see my
radio, 9XR with FrSky djt, D8R11 plus,
bound correctly, Neo7 gps on and locked,
able to calibrate compass. I';ve checked
channels etc not sure where to go next
could my receiver be US or have I missed
something simples

pheasant_plucker

A photo or two of the quad capturing the receiver to Crius wiring would help.

Hi Gerry  Looks like I c**ked up will send
another post with other photos.  Arnold

ArnieBurrell

Here';s the other two, hope you can make
out what I';ve done.

pheasant_plucker

I may be wrong but offhand isn';t the top row of pins on the receiver the signals, positive centre and negative bottom?

That dont look right to me

On crius ,looking at your last picture ,  the left side is power in to the board

right side pins go to the receiver in this order yaw-pitch-roll-throttle  then 5v then ground , with ground being the last pin , ie furthest right.

If you have sum ppm set on the reciever you only need to connect the last 3 pins to your reciever.

ArnieBurrell

I';ve got a V2 board with 14 pins the top 4 are
marked Aux.  The bottom two are extend power.
Working up, PPM, +5,Gnd rx, +5v rx, Thr(PPM Sum)
Ail,Ele,Rud. I';ve checked signal wire is correct in receiver.

How did you load the software on to the Crius? Try redoing it using the flash tool.

ArnieBurrell

Reloaded via flash tool, I';ve checked the
wiring again. As all my kit is new I went
and bought a servo to check radio, TX and
Rx all ok and right channels. I deleted and
re installed Mission Planner. I did notice
that as I click on radio setup in MP for
half a second there are readings present
and then gone.  I';m wondering if there is a
problem in the Crius.  I';m thinking should
I replace with an APM 2.6 now there a bit
more reasonable ?

pheasant_plucker

When you used flash tool did you make sure you had selected the correct radio parameters as highlighted?

I must admit I find my APM';s much more stable and reliable than the Crius.

Thanks Gerry
Tried em all,( did find one motor signal
wrong slotted), to no avail I think I must
go to APM, question is 2.6 or the new
chinese 2,8 ?
