Thought id add a bit about how far my build is so far, I am waiting for an AR7000 rx and my lipos to turn up now, i belive i need to set up min & max throtle for the esc';s? Can this be done all together or do i have to do them 1 at a time? Do they have to be connected to the fc board? From what i can work out all i need do now is connect up the fc to the rx, mount the fc to base plate with double sided foam tape, add some open cell foam between fc and top plate secure top plate, check motor directions, balance and fit props then run through setup on pc ? At which point do i upload the crius firmware from the forum? Also i belive your using a dx8 gaz? Could you point me in the right direction regarding switch asignment and rough settings please, when you get a spare 5.
Any input, help or advice would be great.

Looking good so far Paul as for calibrating the esc';s you have to connect each one to the rx individually to the the throttle range, there is a good video by Teslahed on calibration but I cant find a link to it maybe some one else could post it for you  ~~

If you have SimonK electronic speed controllers you should get the same beep tones as this;

One circlip short of a quadcopter.
 1 lobe short of an antenna.

Cheers guys that seems painless, just wait for my rx and batts to turn up then get that out the way, then ill start on the setup and flashing bit, hope you guys dont mind a point in the right direction if i get stuck, the only other thing im churning over in my head at the mo is setting up the flight modes, do i just attach a signal wire from flight board to rx following aux1 to aux1 then tell it what it should do in the programing, or am i jumping too far ahead. Does the receiver get its power from the esc';s or have i got to give it a feed.

Finaly sorted my rx, uploaded the software now, just need open cell foam for top of baro then i can fit the top plate, calibrate the sensors, balance the props then test flight. Even got my lights fitted, the purple looking ones are blue.
