I have done Dynamic Soaring in over 55mph, and quad flying in over 25mph with the right equipment.

Broken props are part of the process  :D It's amazing how antennas can find their way into the props  :D

hiya guys, bought my i-fly 4 a while ago and i don';t know i just don';t seem to be "clicking" with it. i have no confidence when flying it. it may just be me but it seems it can be a little unpredictable at times.

So i thought it might be an idea to strip it out and rebuild it with some new electronics and maybe some better skids as the stock ones are so flimsy it';s unreal!!!

other than the landing skids i do quite like the frame. it folds down really easy to a nice compact size (perfect for chuking in a rucksack. all components are easy to reach and pretty much everything is a doddle to replace if it gets broken.

i was thinking of binning the esc';s (apparently they are proprietary and won';t work with other control boards, please correct me if i am wrong) and bin off the c4 controller and start again with a full naze 32 and i havnt decided on the esc';s yet but open to suggestions. then eventually when it';s pretty much operational and i have my faith back flying it i can add a GPS unit and start programming features like F/S auto land and "loiter" modes.

has anyone gone through a similar process?? what kit did you use?? how did it work out?? any other parts you';d recommend upgrading??

TIA!!! ~~
