Hi Micky,
I';m nearly there buddy, I';ve been flat out in the domestic front so not had much time.  I';m just carrying out some little moves on the components, so many places to put them just getting the best I can get with min weight thus adding flight time and speed  :wack0 If all goes to plan there should be a video on here this weekend subject to our weather of course..   I did manage to update the iOSD firmware last night which will give data logs on her as well so can show how well it flys and what speed, height,  motors running should be a good indicator on it all.  There is a firmware upgrade on the WKM as well but holding back as I know my current firmware is fine.  Don';t want to put to many things in the analysis should something not be quite right with components setup..  Hope your TBS is coming along. ~~

Hi Vin tbs is built but I have some issues with it as it seems it wasn';t as straight forward as we thought got throttle problems and esc';s may need re-calibrating  and try to stop the thing from flipping backwards lol so i';ll keep you posted.

Well guys she';s built was hoping to fly today but weather has been to windy and wanted to tune her.  I';m still waiting for 4s battery';s to come so keeping weight off not adding gimbal.  Not sure if 3s is enough so may not even risk it.. This baby is strong and protects the components well...

Looking at the picture from the manual in the second post on page one and looking at the finished article above, what was the reason for fitting the motor mounts the other way up?

Hi Simon, they are designed for either way and just as ridged which ever you choose.  I spoke to the designer who suggested this way as the motors are easy access to change props ect as well as allowing the wash to get out even..

Well we have power!! Batterys still not arrived from you know where!!  Paint still drying on that one...  But ordered a DesirePower from elecctronicwingman yesterday and booom! on the doormat this morning..  Time to charge and put on the props...  I';ve been waiting so long to fly her that I';ve booked tomorrow off work..  Sad i know but lets hope the weather holds...

Well got up early this morning and had to have a little fly.. The gains are all set to 100 at the moment and will tune in very soon.. The video attached is on-board using GoPro and the reason for a lot of movement is due to me testing the controls.. THIS IS THE VERY FIRST FLIGHT and she lifted off and moved around really smooth.. Adjusting gains soon and will add off-board video so you can see the beauty...

Well been doing some double checking and all good messed around with prop adapters to smooth the motors out more.. (Balance) Got hold of a lovely app for the iPhone and taped it to each arm one at a time to test results got the levels down to these..

I was going to ask how it descends as i used to get a little wobble on the dji 550 when dropping fast not much to worry about but noticeable all the same.
