How excited am I? After all the advice I got from the introduction page I';ve followed Darrell';s lead and ordered the same one from Pete king.  :notworthy:
looking forward to scaring my self silly :blink will undoubtably be on asking for more advice, but as all I';ve had so far has been top notch I am filled with confidence. It';s like having a buddy lead.

Thanks all that replied for your advice and information, and brace yourselves ill be back!

Have fun with it, I';m sure you will - one piece of advice though take notes if you can while he';s telling you what does what; if you don';t and can';t remember it';s a little bit scary  :whistling:  :whistling:  :whistling:

Wise words, I bought the remains of one of his quads from a member of another forum I frequent. Not entirely sure what happened but the RTH feature didn';t return home and it instead crashed into someones roof.

I think what probably happened was that the height the return to launch was set too low - easily done, ok on a flat field but not a populated area. Mine is set at 20 metres, shouldn';t hit anything but a quit tall tree (model magnet).

Ah yeh the RTR (Return To Roof) feature
TBH I think Return to roost is more fitting!   :nananana:

According to the info supplied, not so. This quad just flew off away from this guy instead of coming back to him

Not that it bothers me as I got the remains at a good price ~~

Better off getting a Hubsan x4, nothing like realistic on Phoenix.
If you read Peters instructions on GPS you will see he says to boot up twice to get the best possible lock, if you don';t it might only pick up 2 references, second boot improves this.
