Hi, I am building my first quad and I';m using a crius board, Afro 30 amp esc';s, Turnigy 2836/8 motors, Turnigy 8ch tx/rx and S3 lipo battery. When I calibrate with the rx with a 4 to 1 jig all motors run fine but when I reconnect to the board they are all mixed up, they seem to start in sequence as I increase the throttle. Has anyone come across this and if could you pleeezzzz Help.
Thanking you in advance.

dirtyharry

have you calibrated the accelerometers on the board?

Also to calibrate motors on a crius you load the sketch with the " // "  brackets removed from " // calibrate motors"

Its near the bottom of the config page.

Re-load , let it run , then re-load with "//" back in.

ps you don';t need to calibrate afro esc';s according to the developers of them.

Thankyou very much for taking the time to reply, I have read a lot of material on quads but have not seen anything on calibtating the accelerometers could you please enlighten me. I will also calibrate the esc';s via multiwii.
Have carried out calibration of esc';s, accelerators and magnetometers, I have attached 2 pics of gui with min and max throttle. Should thet look like this.
Many thanks again.
