TBS Pro Vs Tractor

Ben

I was out with the Pro filming with a local farmer. All was going well, so flew up close to the tractor. Went round in front and along the backside. At this point I lost FPV signal so throttled up as I knew it would be the tractor blocking the signal.

As the signal came back the quad didn';t feel right, so I headed back home. For some reason it just fell out of the sky on the way back and crashed  :-/

Picking it up, it only had 2 broken props, 1 of which was hardly damaged. Thought it a bit odd but changed props, tightened up the gimbal grub screw and carried on.

When I got home and checked the footage, it all became clear!

Here';s behind the tractor - https://vimeo.com/fpv2/review/104191338/8c01d65cb3

And here';s the flight back - https://vimeo.com/fpv2/review/104191714/3de41875da

No wonder it crashed! I';m guessing the props where damaged in the first crash I knew nothing about and they gave up on the way back....

Lucky our farmer mate is on the ball, you don';t get to go that far under a plough and survive normally!

very unlucky, take it you don';t fly with sound?

Point and click.

Monkey see, Monkey do.

Ben

No, I don';t have live sound, might get that sorted now though.

I noticed that the gimbal was playing up just before (the loose screw) and when the picture went I switched to the FPV cam straight away, so couldn';t tell how badly damaged it was. It was clearly not right, but looked not too bad until the prop failed completely.

A friend, nay associate of mine once fell into a thrashing machine on the way to a farmers ball, but luckily for him he was already ******, so emerged relatively unscathed.
