Getting Maps for DJI Spark (Using IOS device)

Hello all,

I was just wondering how/if anyone has managed to get the maps to work (in the bottom left corner of screen) when using an IOS device? (They can be pre-downloaded on Android, the option isn't there on Apple stuff for some reason).

I always put my phone in Airplane Mode when flying so it has no internet/4G connection so I don't get any map information. I'm wondering if I leave the internet connection on my phone while the AC is on the ground until the localised maps have loaded onto it would be the way to do it (then switch to Airplane mode for the flight).

Then there's also to issue of flying where there is no 3G/4G signal...

Any help would be appreciated.
