You need a bit more angle, get the props out of view and spend a little less time looking at the grass but good work

You may also want to run reversed motor yaw direction, aside from the aerodynamic benefits which I have never noticed, it stops the props splattering stuff into your fpv and possibly the runcam lense

Yep, C. My FPV cam is only at a small uptilt while I continue with baby steps. Time, though to get some grown-up tilt on I think - that';ll most likely feature in my next serious vid.

VERY interesting suggestion about reversing the motors! I';ve never heard of that before. Always gone with the default "props turn towards the body" principle. Is that a setting in BetaFlight?

Actually mate I meant more tilt on the runcam, it';s that footage we see

Reversed yaw motor direction-
Firstly you have to make sure your motors are spinning the opposite direction from normal (easy enough - connect to blheli and change the direction in the escs)
Then you tell the flight controller, on current releases of bf the cli to do this is:
Set yaw_motor_direction = -1
Save

And make sure you put your props on the opposite of normal

(Bf 3.2 Dev releases they are changing the syntax, since final release is 3 months away, wouldn';t want to gues when it will be but there is a feature request to include it in the configurator gui rather than cli)

Yep, the runcam.  (well, need a teeny bit more on the FPV one too anyhow).
I';m going to need to get myself a proper mount then for the RC. My strapping is good and solid, but 0deg and I don';t really like the idea of stuffing shims and things in there.

How come everyone';s not doing this reverse yaw thing - it seems SO obvious now you';ve mentioned it!

most of us have mate, I haven';t used a quad without it for Well over a year,

But to be honest i don';t feel it, just nice being able to see
It also helps with crashes where you clip things like gate I think, becase the outer edges of your front props are moving to the rear, hence with the object

Makes sense - though I';ll have to actually swap my motors about or my nuts will fly off! 
Actually happened once, when I got the motors the wrong way around. Landed badly and watched as my props all flew up in the air! It was actually rather comical. Happily, the grass was really short and I found all my prop nuts.

I second the motor reverse thing. All the grass that used to end up on the lens now goes into the USB connector! Here is the vid I used.

Tried it... works first time!
Remembered to type SAVE, then GET YAW to CONFIRM that the settings had taken too.

Will make a vlog about the experience after I';ve had a flight other than a hover in the garden.
Got a time-lapse of me swapping the motors  ::)

Oh... bit of black duct tape ought to fix the grass in the USB problem

Pft gras in the USB is easy to get out with an old brush or a pair of tweezers, fair trade for crap on the cam mid flight :)
