When using different S batteries

I am using 3s and 4s batteries in my quad which have different hover characteristics. With 4s, quad takes off nearly 40% throttle, but with 3s takes off nearly 70% throttle. When I set .MIDTHR & THR EXPO in Multiwiigui for 3S, works fine. But after changing battery to 4s, it is more agile that with a little movement on throttle stick it goes up or down. Do I have to re-set "MIDTHR & THR EXPO" every time when I change from 3s to 4s or visa versa? 

(using RC Timer Crius AIOP on multiwii 2.3 and Turnigy 9x with frysky module)

You can set different profiles on the naze and assign them to a switch. So you could set up a 3s and 4s profile

This maybe completely stupid due to my lack of knowledge but here goes.

Can';t you create 2 ';models'; on your tx and then have independent throttle curves one for 3S and the other for 4S and have no expo in the Flight Controller?

I am using Turnigy 9x stock firmware. In ACRO mode there is Throttle Curve function.
