AIOP v1.1 No throttle till 90% stick

No really sure how to tackle this one. I';m getting no response from the stick till it';s almost all the way up at which point it comes on at the relative power. Almost full. If I tilt the quad about I can see it still tries to level with what head room is left.

I tried flashing the board with a clean copy of MegaPirateNG R3 and the issue remains 

Any suggestions as to where I should be looking next?

Thanks! That';s definitely the issue. You';re not the first person to say this. I did once upon a time attempt to calibrate the ESCs as per the manual I down loaded but had no luck. I just tried again and kind of figured it out but the sequences and the beeps are different from what the manual shows. I';m wondering if the manual is for newer or older versions of the RCtimer 30A ESCs I have.

What tx are you using ? did you use a clean memory slot are the end points on the throttle channel set to the default ? a old heli setup could behave weird like this

You don';t say if you have prior experience in building a Quad but make sure that your Transmitter is in Aero mode NOT HELI
Also use the APM/Megapirate built in calibration routine to do all four at once.
Throttle stick to full
Power on the quad
Power down the quad then power it straight back up again
At the beep pull the throttle straight back to the bottom.
Apply a little throttle and the props will spin a bit to confirm the settings have been stored.
