hello to all again, I';m struggle set my PID.

I want to use angle mode only, should I make PID changing with Angle mode on?

I like to achieve enjoyable FPV, with smooth PID corrections

If I';m not wrong for smooth FPV is P=low I=med/high D= low cheers guys ~~

From what I have read ( and i have read a lot lately ) it should be , tune pid in acro first, next tune in angle or horizon, if you only plan to fly angle then I would imagine you only need to tune pid for that flight mode.
This process is made much easier if you have the Crius Bluetooth module ;)

i did all my Tuning in Horizon mode, never tuned in acro mode at all, if all your doing is flying in Angle, just tune it for Angle.

One problem that you can find when you only tune in horizon mode
If your acro pids are way out you will never get them right .even if you only fly in horizon mode .
The acro pids still affect horizon .getting the acro pids right then the horizon gives a better feel I think .
But you can get used to anything if you practice pids matter but you get a lot of leeway I';m forever moving mine around

Sorry disagree, mine flies perfectly and its never been set for Acro, in fact i would let anyone test it and i doubt they could find fault with the way it handles, there is absolutley no need to tune in acro settings to get it flying as you want it.

because if what you say is true, then that means mine shouldnt be flying correctly.

That';s not what I said I said if your acro pids are way out ....
You could always get lucky and the factory settings in acro could match your quad or what ever you have ...

Go in to the acro pids and turn your p gain right up then fly in horizon
You will see what I mean

I think you were just lucky. Tuning requirements will vary depending on hardware and PID controller. Jazzz is right in that you tune in acro first, then other modes. If it';s somewhere near in acro you';ll be able to get it flying in angel/horizon pretty well. But in most cases you';ll need to adjust the acro PIDs first.

I';ve built 3 250 quads now and, while they flew ok in acro and well in angle, there were significant improvements after a full tune. It';s just that the improvements are more obvious in acro.

I think it';s fair to say that if you can';t get it so you';re happy with it by just adjusting the angle/horizon PIDs, you';ll need to start with the acro PIDs.
