Ive just purchased some retracts for my Disco, I have a channel setup on my Taranis-plus for up and down. I have also connected the retracts to the connection on the upper frame.  I power up and I get nothing.  I';m using the Immersion EZUHF 8CH Diversity as my RX and I';m pretty sure that it supplies 5/6V down each channel, correct me if I';m mistaken?.  I just cant get anything to work, does anyone else use retracts? what am I missing?. Many thanks Dean. :)
1. TBS Discovery, TBS 1000KV motors, TBS ESC's, TBS 69 Cam, TBS Unify 800mw 2.4GHZ, NAZA V2, EZUHF 8Ch Diversity, DJI BTU, DJI Mini IOSD, Graupner 9X5, GoPro 3 White.
2. EMAX 250, Fatshark FPV with Mobius which scares the hell out of me.

I';m not familiar with the RX you';re using, but most of receivers (and flight controllers) don';t have the meat to power a servo directly, especially not something that needs to operate the landing gear.

I would power the servos from a BEC or PDB and just use the signal wire from the RX to actuate them.

I';d say the same, give them their own power, can';t think of an rd capable of powering retracts

I';ve got Tarot retracts the signal is connected direct to the Frsky D8-ll+ the supply is from one of the ESC';s

yup same as all above, i have messed around looking to put retracts on my disco pro to allow the use of a 3 axis gimble underneath. Best way is to power direct from the main board from any of the 5v reg pads and then run the signal direct to Immersion rx this is the way i do most of mine, also once you have figured all that out make sure you set failsafe to lower the landing legs too otherwise if hanging a gimbal it may get a bit squashed
Check out RCmungo - new site just getting ready to be launched for all your RC needs
Bit like ebay but for RC

yeah bit of a channel mix to make failsafe lower landing gear, first thing I set up when I got retracts

i have mine on a polou ...

I';ve read that powering something like a servo or retracts from the same 5v supply can introduce noise onto the supply for your flight control ... which isn';t good!
