Adding Auto level / Angle on MultiWii / FlySky FS-T6

I can set the Angle to AUX 1,2,3 or 4 on MultiWii GUI. But, under Aux Channels on my controller, there is only Channel 5 and 6 to define the switches.

Anyone have any idea how to define it to a switch?

Aux is just a label and refers to any channel other than throttle, rudder, pitch and roll.  If you wire channel 5 from your RX to Aux 1 on your flight controller then whatever you have assigned to channel 5 in your radio will activate Aux 1.  From your picture it looks like channel 5 is already set to switch B or something (don';t have that radio myself).

Neverending loop!

I open GUI, add the Angle/Auto level feature, write it to my board and then my ESCS become decalibrated, so I open Arduino and reload my config.h and save to the board, ESCs become normal again.

Can';t seem to get Angle / Auto level to work without losing calibration. Or should I try added it and then recalibrate my ESCS again?

I';ve had a similar thing happen when changing PID via Bluetooth,  my motors would drop below 500 and only activated when stick input was at 50% until I reload the sketch via arduino. This was while using one of the Android apps as trying to change values with the ftdi is a pita. Did you find a work around or a solution to this problem?

Nope I haven';t, Still can';t activate Angle mode because the board resets or I lose proper throttle.

I';m tempted to strip it down again, load up Angle, lose the proper throttle and then try calibrate the ESCs again. But, stripping it down again is annoying.

Happend to me again tonight when reading the aux channels from my phone, aux 1 had become set to level flight mode in high position whereas five minutes before I had just used aux1 to arm motors in the garden.
mwconf settings would save meaning i could set aux1 to arm motors again but motors were dropping to below 100 and then shooting up to above 1000 when throttle was at 50%, I tried re calibrating the esc with arduino but still the same problem, im not sure if re calibrating the acc fixed it or not but eventually I got it all setup again and set aux2 to horizon and baro on switch6, span it up in the kitchen and it seemed ok but it';ll have to wait until sunday for a test flight 
  Hopefully this time I can tune the pid with the bluetooth without corrupting anything else.
Did you get anywhere with setting up angle mode? I believe that horizon is preferable to angle mode as its a combo of acro/angle , small movements = angle and fast movements = acro. Could be wrong but im sure I read it either on here or another forum.

I';ve decided to buy this when I get paid, so will sort all the angle stuff out when it arrives and I set it up.

Are they any good? Just interested in the 1km+ range, as mine is terrible.

I have an i6 and the ia6b rx. The tx is smaller than normal but not too small for normal hands. RX is good as it does ppm, you can add telemetry sensors, and it has 2 antennas. Not found out what the range is yet.
It seems very light on batteries, they last hrs and hrs.
One point to remember is that to save a setting you press and hold Cancel!!!! That has caught a few people out but it is mentioned in the manual.
I managed to slide my rx under my fc (cc3d) that is mounted on 10mm standoffs. It is probably 12mm high for most of the case so the FC clamps it down and so far so good.

The range has to be better than mine. It goes easily from 1 side of a football pitch to the other if I';m sat in the middle. But i think having a voice warning when sign is getting low would be good.

I don';t think it has voice warning when signal low but I think it does beep at you. Plus there is a signal strength display on the tx (well error signal) that tells you if the signal is getting poor and then beeps if too low I think. Not got that far away yet 
It also has rx battery voltage display and warning beep on tx. If you buy a cheap module (£4-£5) you can get flight battery voltage and alarm beep (settings in menu) on tx.

Same thing. Aslong as it';s got some sort of warning.

I managed to get horizon mode working at long last, I used ezgui from the app store to set aux2/switch C to activate horizon only ( no mag, no baro ) and hey presto it works, also the esc didnt loose calibration :) i can now actively but cautiously hover around the back garden, and my lawn mowing skills with the quad are vastly improved.
PID still needs tuning but having the Bluetooth module and the app on my phone should make that pretty easy
