Naze32 losing altitude hold

Has anybody else noticed this?

I was having trouble trying to tune my naze32 to hold altitude. I would switch on baro and nothing would happen, it would not hold its altitude at all.

After lots of frustration I decided to reset to defaults. Suddenly it starts working with the default pids.
I then tried tuning the altitude pids (In fact changing any pid value) and altitude hold is gone again. Defaults brings it back.

I then compared the cli dump output from before and after pid tuning and I found
set p_vel = 120
set i_vel = 45
set d_vel = 1
has become
set p_vel = 0
set i_vel = 0
set d_vel = 0
defaults resets it.

This only happens when tuning using multiwii EZ-GUI and MultiWii Configurator over bluetooth. A direct connection to my pc running Chrome Baseflight leaves these values at default.

Any ideas?

I';d say that there is a bug in the Mutiwii softwares causing that.

Is there anything relating to this on the MultiWii developers wiki?

Looking at multiwii EZ-GUI and MultiWii Configurator on android there is no section in PID for velocity but there is in Baseflight on the pc so I can only assume when the pids are sent via android a null value is sent for vel.

I think this is worth a bump up.

This is a problem for me also, No way of tuning using android because these values are reset to 0 and Alt Hold stops working

just a thought can you not run baseflight on your chrome phone ?
Carbon Tricopter with KK2 mini because you have to own a Tri and Falcon Evo FPV (rebuild again) with fatshark 600mw vtx & pz2040 cam. New addition (hidden from the missus!) 250 quad.
