Hi all my ubec blow up I put the led in the wrong socket on the apm and it went bang .

I';ve replaced the ubec and it';s working but the apm 2.6 will not connect to pc I';ve tried to put new firmware on it buts says  no packet received and on Misson planner says can';t access bootloader .

The apm is working other than not connecting to pc .

Any help would be great.

Possibly a blown diode or 3.3v regulator, I';d say the latter!

If your good with a soldering iron it';s not too bad, and it';s cheap too!
Have a look in the arducopter forum for my thread titled "2nd apm to die"
Most is explained there!

Turns out I burnt the board really bad and blew the gps unit up too . New one on order .

I put the wire from the battery that I thought was the led indicator for the apm tunes out it was 11.1v lol

Ah, I see... Gutted mate, they are very temperamental little things!

Found this part has a burn mark on it any one know what It is?

I';d say that if you';ve put 11.1v into something that was expecting 5v then its pretty much screwed. Even in the short time it takes for any fuse/diode to blow the voltage will have done a lot of damage to the various IC on the board.
