[WEEKLY CHALLENGE SERIES] #5 - Hit a gap, any gap

I thought we would roll things back a bit this week, and focus on a core competency, of flying straight and true through a gap. Throttle control and avoiding a desire to twitch the sticks are key.

No tutorial video because it’s just a matter of finding a gap and going through it.

Let’s be sensible and only hit legitimate gaps, no animals or structures that are likely to endanger others.

(Just in case you’re wondering where this is all leading to, in a future week we will be looking to bring all of these individual moves together into a single 1minute flow-video - but that’s for another time)

Yeah got me wandering, for Chris’s benefit, does the gap have to be there before you hit it or can you make your own?

Also, and I shudder to point this out? No time limit?

I have considered doing that a few times but it’s a really tight squeeze! That, and the fact that a basketball net is usually 11 feet above concrete has put me off!

Nice edit though Adam, loved the golden hour shots over the field.... was that an AD at the end too?  ::)

Ty Chris, yeah there is one, I even thought of pointing it out. A lot of ghost branches on that gap, I was so intent on stuff from above what I actually hit was undergrowth :)

Ty mate, I am not a photographer, Chris has been very helpful with GoPro settings, I just thought the soundtrack was begging for those opening shots like that
Ads? You mean for my prop balancing expert or EWM? (Paul sent me the motors on that quad to test, I really am grateful, They work really well on that build)
