  • shawdreamer: doesnt anyone use a mission planner anymore?,  as much as APM's are getting outdated now I still cant fault their mission planner when your doing range runs, take my laptop or windows pad along with me, program in a simple straight line waypoint route and hit "launch", aslong as your frame got a 433mhz telem radio onboard you can monitor the entire run their and back and worse case scenerio hit RTH on the lappy to bring it home early

CAA / NATS RESTRICTED AIRSPACE FOR ROYAL WEDDING:
« on: May 14, 2018, 10:37:29 »
All,

The CAA & NATS have established a huge RESTRICTED AIRSPACE FOR ROYAL WEDDING which includes drones and model aircraft flights have a look http://skywise.caa.co.uk/alert-restricted-airspace-temporary-4/?cat=30

I would not be surprised if there are also some drone counter measures being deployed.

Make sure it's a quad you don't care about, or better still, have a fully autonomous wing fly over. ::)
Why use 4 motors when you can use 6?

Autonomous? where's the fun in that, need to be able to avoid anything that get's thrown at you lol

most likely they will have signal jamming tech
can't think of any other way they can take a drone out the sky without causing a scene
can't see them launching RAF fighters to take out a hobby drone

OK, so just wasted several minutes trying to see the information.

If they want public to comply how come the info seems to be locked away behind user logins?
