  • shawdreamer: doesnt anyone use a mission planner anymore?,  as much as APM's are getting outdated now I still cant fault their mission planner when your doing range runs, take my laptop or windows pad along with me, program in a simple straight line waypoint route and hit "launch", aslong as your frame got a 433mhz telem radio onboard you can monitor the entire run their and back and worse case scenerio hit RTH on the lappy to bring it home early

It was the sparrow for both!
Was the second one the sparrow or did you stick a full miniquad in that gap?

15 seconds.... hmmm, when have I ever posted a 15 second clip....    :nananana: :whistling:
Rough cut of a very fun lunchtime having a go at the challenge. Put on my best GREEN packs for this.

So, okay maybe not quite power loops, but certainly LOOPY. I think I could have a lot of fun practicing this.

Nah mate, that was the lesser of two evils, if I had looped the other way I could have gone nose first into the roof of that scout hut, that was the chicken route ;)

Really liking this idea, will give it a shot. Think I have a dvr or two with some dodgy powerloops but I will probably try this weekend!

I'm sure I can't see that clause in the contract. :nananana:

Here’s mine! It’s the only one I could find in a hurry and it’s from a couple of months ago. Does it need to be this week?

Nicely done vandal.  Try to keep the throttle on until you can see the horizon come back in to view, that way you will get the quad to loop.  Nice smooth pitch input though!

 :hmm:

No chance, I'd end up landing on the rails and taking a train out.

But I do have a couple of viaducts in the lake district lined up :nananana:

May have to pop out again at lunchtime.... you know, refine the skills. Loving this challenge idea, gives me some great incentive to try stuff I was afraid to do.  ~~

Dont do alot of powerloops to be honest (yet) so this is pretty cringe worthy series of attempts, successes and fails (lots of fun regardless) :)
