  • VaNDAL_UK: atomiclama: I was pricing up the cable 0.08 copper wire and SMA connectors came out to about £15 and I could have made 5 meters worth of antennas!

I have always seen the insurance as a small price, the main benefit being that you should be able to track items, in reality the tracking is rubbish.

In theory if anything happens then it is probably worth having the insurance for peace of mind, it depends on how much it is?

You decide what is best for you.

I think on a large purchase the insurance is probably worth it for piece of mind and also looks better in a pay pal claim if things end up there,
I'm not sure about the law or even if it applies to buying from china but as far as i know if you order some thing by mail their contract with you is not complete until delivery is made so to be honest they should be the ones paying for insurance
