Stay Away From PC-Tec.co.uk - In Administration But Still Trading

Just a word of caution to anyone looking to purchase a used/refurbished PC, do not use PC-Tec.co.uk (https://pc-tec.co.uk/) as they are trading while under Administration. 

Not in itself a particular problem, providing they behave themselves.  But the reasons for them being in Administration become abundantly clear once you place an order with them.  They simply fail to deliver and communications from them is very poor to be point of none at all.

Even PayPal has cut them off, but they are still able to use Visa/Mastercard Credit/Debit cards to take payment. 

I am currently a creditor of theirs to the tune of £144.96, not the end of the world of course but why should I be funding their fraudulent lifestyles?    My hope is that I will be able to recover my funds by way of the Bank. 

Bottom line, unless you want a load of grief making a simple purchase just stay away, avoid at all costs, do not use PC-Tec.co.uk.

If you used a credit card contact the issuer and explain. They will normally chargeback the transaction and you will not be out of pocket.

I did get it solved with my Bank who did clawback on my Debit card.  Fortunately, the incompetence of PC-Tec extended to not claiming the money back and so the transaction ended in my favour.

Since this time, a while back, I have been contacted by several Facebookers who saw my postings on PC-Tec';s FB page that they left intact.  Commercial suicide or pure incompetence?  You decide
