Seth has picked up the development of copter-GCS

It includes:-A full Heads Up Display
-Mission planning, with all commands and parameters available
-Follow-Me with offset mode, Guided Mode flight
-a Command Line terminal
-built for Android 2.2 and up-full parameter editing
-works for Arduplane and Arducopter
-text to speech announces mode changes and waypoints reached

Works with direct Bluetooth to APM (with Bluetooth adapter fitted to  telemetry port and configured for 57,600 baud)

or

A Bluetooth to  3DR Radio Bridge, (Recommended way as gives better range)

(This is easy to make up.. just use a standard 3DR radio air unit and connect to Bluetooth unit, requires 5V, Ground, Tx and Rx, power via 5v UBEC and Lipo and mount in a case as below). Baudrate of Bluetooth unit needs to be set at same baud as air unit, recommend 57,600 for both)
