    June 27, 2017, 12:37:54
  • JeremyE: The surface is constantly changing and you have way less time to react.
    June 27, 2017, 10:55:22
  • JeremyE: F1 requires way more skill!
    June 27, 2017, 10:54:31
  • ched999uk: Rally is great to watch and they display amazing control and skill. The problem for me is only seeing very limited clips of cars and it's a tie trial only. OK so the surface changes and they don't get to try the track before it matters. I like to see F1 drivers overtaking, OK so before anyone says what overtake in F1, it is getting better :)
    June 27, 2017, 10:35:24
  • shawdreamer: dont mean to take anything away from F1 drivers but when they race they rely on the road surface being dependably and consistently the same everytime..... a rally driver has to has to adjust his technique on every single turn and bend and take account that everytime another vehicle go's through that turn and bend ahead of his it changes the nature of the surface, F1 drivers are skilled, Rally drivers are skilled and brave..... and more than a little nuts
    June 27, 2017, 06:27:19
  • Hozza: BTCC is a good one to watch also, after all rubbing is racing

  • shawdreamer: "once ina while" is all very good with F1 but you watch a rally and everytime its a spectacle.
    June 26, 2017, 09:10:35
  • ched999uk: I assume you missed the F1 today. It was ore like rally cross!!!
    June 25, 2017, 23:45:50
  • shawdreamer: thats why Rally motorsport is the only motorsport ill even entertain anymore, those guys display almost inhuman skill levels everytime the go out, compared to driving round and round a flat tarmaced race track in a F1 is just a piece of pi55
    June 25, 2017, 19:27:05

A foxeer arrow. And it doesn't fit on my alien! The carbon backplate obscures the connector. Looks like it'll have to go on my wing!

I'm hoping you meant 3s rather than 3c. :)

3s 2200 batteries are very popular in planes. You won't have a job selling them ;) I'd offer to buy them off you but I stocked up recently myself.

Depending on their C rating they could also be usefull for 280 to 330 class quad flyers.

Used for pro 12k 360 Degree Video filming

10 Cams on Gimbal and 1 on top plate of S900
Its a custom S900, two battery plates front and back so the CG is in the centre of the frame.
ezUHF for control with diversity (as I use Wifi remote to trigger 10 gopros, 2.4ghz is not a good idea)
Wookong FC
FPV cam and 5.8ghz for video.. divirsity RC etc
Gimbal is 10 camera with magnetic encoders, with dual role and tilt motors, single yaw.
As the pole with the cams is 700mm long.. takes off from trestles and hand catch.

VERY strange day today for deliveries.  Our normal mail arrives about 12:30

06:50 the letter box flap went followed by a thump of items falling to floor, had not heard a vehicle (which I would have) and by the time I got to the window, nobody in sight. Couple of bills, couple of travel brochures, and two packets of model gear from different places. Ident said Royal Mail, normal postage.

10:30 indeterminate Courier lady, private car, "Gotta parcel for ya babe..............."  Item from GearBest (China) but came with Royal Mail labelling and from Cheshire, but she def wasn't!! (either!)

11:45 Interlink 24 hr delivery.

A further Royal Mail 24Hr delivery, arrived between 13:45 and 16:45.

Assume first one was miss delivered and the person delivered on their way to work??

Anyway, the outcome was:-

Some "Walkera" type plugs and sockets.

A GearBest adjustable focus 5" screen Headset (another one as I so liked the first that I wanted another before they changed the design!).  I used a cheap head mag unit lens this time to correct to my eyesight, which fits perfectly with no glue and can be unclipped for cleaning if required, like it was designed for it!!!

2 FrSky Variometers

And ten rolls of silver duct tape.....................  (Don't ask, OK?)

And the one thing I REALLY need, ordered from UK 18/12 and stated in stock....................  NAH!!
