Disabled USB Port

I accidentally disabled the USB port on my Naze32 by setting serial_port_1_scenario = 0 which of course, has left me without a way to communicate with the Naze.

Anyone know how to undo this?

=\

Thanks.

Probably have to do a full reset by shorting the pads and reflashing the board.

I could be wrong though
Not much kit, but what I have I like
Armattan Tilt 2, Morphite 180, Quark 150, Decapitated NanoQX
Taranis+

You could try forcing it into bootloader mode and reflash baseflight.  That should restore it to default settings.

Naze32 manual page 8.

That did it.  Thanks!   Took a few attempts but I finally got the Flash Loader Demo to see the board in boot loader mode.  Installed the .hex file and it came back to life.

Whew!

Good stuff! ~~

Out of curiosity, did everything work as specified in the manual or did you have to make some adjustments?  And which method did you use in the end?

Just asking as someone else may have the same problem in the future.

Pretty much by the book.  I couldn';t locate a compiled version of the Cleanflight .hex file so I downloaded a copy of baseflight.hex just to jumpstart the process.  Once that was loaded I went into Cleanflight and used the firmware updater.  As an aside, even when the Naze was in bootloader mode it took several attempts to get the Flash Loader Demo to see the board as ready for flashing.

All in all the worst of it was shorting the boot pads while trying to insert the USB cable at the same time.  I finally took a pair of pointed tweezers and taped them to match the pad centers. =)
