I need to return a package to Hobbyking in Ipswich, which include a VERY small lipo battery.  Which couriers transport lipos? Returning this package is turning into a nightmare!

Royal Mail will actually carry lipos under certain conditions.

[10]
 Prohibitions and restrictions
Lithium ion/polymer batteries sent with
 equipment
(e.g. rechargeable batteries sent with electronic devices including
mains powered battery chargers but excluding battery packs)
UK destinations: Yes
International destinations: No

From https://www.royalmail.com/business/system/files/Royal-Mail-prohibitions-and-restrictions-guide-for-contract-and-business-customers-Oct-2015.pdf

Problem looks like you can only do it 'on account' or by franking!!

Maybe easier for HobbyKing to provide you with a returns label.

RM Letters do not carry LiPo, the ParcelForce arm do, that is how Hobbyking send from UK warehouse. They have to have a LiPO warning label which says:-

Caution

Wineglass, Battery and fire (if damaged) pictograms

Lithium Battery
Do not Load or Transport package if damaged

Sent plenty of lipo's via royal mail. Make sure lipo is at storage charge, box it carefully as when first supplied, wrap the box well in bubble wrap and place in another box smaller than 16x35x45cm. Send it by first or second class small parcel with certificate of posting. Keep the receipt. This gives you the ability to claim £20 if it goes missing, but also means RM don't get your address or personal details.
