  • Reman: I just half woke up, opened my eyes to check the time. and while doing this I subconsciously noticed something wrong with the shape of shadows on the other side of the room. That woke me up with a jolt!!!  It seems I've got so used to seeing my camera hex perched up on the set of draws in the corner of my bedroom that the area now looks strangely empty without it (I took it apart on Sunday to begin the rebuild into its new Y6 frame)...... And now I'm wide awake at bloody half one in the morning....... And feeling like a paranoid pillock. :(

Photo Competition Judging
« on: June 24, 2013, 20:35:10 »
Ok on facebook i';m part of a little local group of people that are learning photograph and ever often we hold a competition. Last time i won it and so this means i have to choose the topic and judge it.

I chose Small world for the idea this time, and i am asking people their opinion on what ones stands out to them.

So if you could do us a favour and let us know which one you like. Cheers :D

Hi

My favourites are the dew on spiders web, and "eat me" alice in wonderland

both have a different take on the them, well see/put together and photographed

if its a beginners competion, then id be slightly put off by the watermarking / signing on the alice in wonderland one, however i respect the author trying to keep copyright of the image

Nice ones Shaktar.  One and 2 for me followed by the bee at The Edan Project and the spider.  Good luck with the competition.  My only claim to photographic fame is having 2 photographs published in The Times, The Shetland Times

I like the slugs on the window, not as obvious as some of the others if you get me. Photography claim to photography fame would be having photos in all the dailies sport pages for a few years including the back pages of the broad sheets and being the team photographer for the England football B team on tour in the Caribbean, tough job but someone had to do it! lol
