One major problem I saw with the turnigy evolution is it has no trim switches.
I finally got a Taranis a few weeks back, it's great. RX wise you wanna be look at the 'X' ones. So X4R/X8R if you need servo pins (planes), XSR for SBUS (quads) and XM/XM+ (SBUS) for micro quads. All have RSSI and all except the XM/XM+ have telemetry. Make sure you get RX's with the LBT firmware. Only D16 protocol will work so avoid the older D8 stuff.Don't forget, you can bind mulitple RX's to one model on your TX. Just set the model number to '0' in the TX (you'll see once you have it and can start tinkering with it ). Great for quads.
