Where do you guys get your batteries from mostly?
« on: February 15, 2017, 22:40:37 »
Just wondering what the most popular place in the UK and Abroad for batteries is? i did a quick forum search and couldn't find much.
Currently after 1s packs from micro drone, but would be nice to know where to buy bigger packs from also for my 280.

Has the HK site changed 'recently'? The warehouse selection seems different. Their prices are generally pretty good and using the UK selector seems to give some decent prices for shipping too. £5.21 to ship 3 packs (<£9 each too).

If they don't add VAT on top of that at the last checkout stage then I think I'll give them another chance.
Got MONSTER stung for tax, import duty and UPS extra handling last time I got LiPos from HK in... HK.

I NEVER order anything from HK international warehouse. Depending what you get, if you order from EU warehouse you will only pay a pound for shipping and it's usually better stocked than UK. UK warehouse is £5 shipping for lipo's with Royal Mail 24. All my lipo's have been from hobby king and they've been pretty good in a 'you get what you pay for' way. So, graphene = very good (but I'm sure they under rate them, so a 1300 is really a 1500, hence the weight and discharge), multi star = very good, zippy/turnigy = good for fixed wing but not multi. And don't bother with the low c transmitter batteries as they are garbage.
