Where can I get mounts for RS2205 motors?
« on: January 22, 2017, 17:02:21 »
Hi all,
I'm trying to find some mountings for a 2205 size motor. I need 3 of them.
None of the motors I've bought have them supplied.
They look like a cross shaped servo horn.
I'm sure you know what I mean.
I need to mount some motors to wood, but can't find where to get the mountings.
Help? anyone? Please?

Hobby King have a few different types in UK store. Some are built for 15mm square bar. Just search HK for 'motor mounts'.

Failing the above, get some fibreglass sheet and make your own. It's handy stuff to have in the  supplies box.

I was wondering if I had anything I could make something from, but the only stuff I have is 5mm acrylic sheets.
Not sure where I'd get fibreglass sheet from, or what thickness I would need. I'm guessing 2 or 3mm would be ok.
I'll have a look.
Thank you.
