  • Reman: Unlikely. I can't even see where the snapped end of the windings are. It looks like its fractured right where the enamel copper goes into the stator. I'd have to cook the stator off the bearing tower to get to it, And if I went that far I'd probabbly be better off re winding the whole stator instaid of doing a bodge.

  • ched999uk: Sugar reman, can't you resolder a wire onto the windings? You will need to remove teh coating.

  • Reman: Oh c0ck. :(  I've been building a lightweight 5" to use the 1900kv Multistar 1704's I salvaged off my first quad. The whole point of this build was to make something light enough to be fun with this particular set of motors........ Long story short, I've just managed to snap one of the windings tails off the stator on one of them. Short of rewinding the little b4stard, its scrap..... So once again, Oh c0ck ! :(

Does anyone know, if there is a best suited Blheli version for little bees 20A opto?
What is the version most people use? Is the latest version compatible?
Should I upgrade firmware to latest or not?

I have heard a rumor that little bees opto work better with 14.3 than with 14.6 blheli version.
Any background on this?

Last time I upgrade blheli was 14.4 I think, since then pretty much converted everything to blheli_s so possibly not the best to advise but generally the current release as a code base (because a lot of it is common between blheli and blheli_s) is very good, the previous release (in blheli_s 16.3) had a bit of an f'up that could brick the escs

For what it is worth I still have quads running last years escs and blheli versions, if it is stable and flies nicely/the way you want, the only reason to upgrade is a new feature you want

Is there a reason why I can't find the setting for "flight controller loop time"?

Is it possible that version 1.14.1 has removed it from configuration tab?

is there a way to change it in 1.14.1 ? or shall I return to 1.13???

Help, anyone pleaseeeeee....  :frantic: :frantic: :help: :help:

I have installed beta flight and now have the following problem.
when armed and not in air mode, my motors still spin.

Normally I have a two position switch for arming
and a three position for Angle / horizon-air mode / air mode

So when I want to land, I switch to angle (no air mode) and once I drop down the throttle my motors stop.

Anyone that could help? :help:

:banghead:Just found that I forgot to switch on Motor stop!! :banghead: :banghead:

Nice, what FC are you using and what is doing the On Screen Display?
Cheers
Happy Flying.
Found it:

'I use 3cell batteries and pdb/osd I use is REDRotor OSD.
F.C. is LumenierLux'

Cheers

PDB is indeed the RED rotor OSD.
But since my previous posts,
I have changed the FC with an X-Racer...
and switched to 4S batteries!

Well it was my first time there. I try to visit new places.
you may see some places from Greece on my personal channel.
Not something huge but I would say quite decent.
