Hi Props I've just installed NAZA assistant in the Hi8 but the resolution doesn't seem to work well with the assistant window.  Maybe changing font size or something might help?  I've not farted about with it much so far. Only installed software and a quick look.
The text is overlapping on the naza assistant.

Cleanflight configurator Everything else working a treat so far.

Does this have a magnetic compass sensor? as I have a Vaavud Sleipnir windspeed unit that runs from an Android App and it requires a Mag sensor

Interesting addition for some of us, looks like the DJI go app and possibly the others that are used by Phantom / Inspire owners work on this great little tablet, part of my research before I press the button on a P3 ::) ::) ::)

I presume that is when booting into Android of course ... Or have you found a Windows 10 version of the app.

Bit of a downer to report, mine has now developed a video problem, as in bands across the screen especially on bright spots; looks like it's just bad luck but hey it has been great so far and still works - but I'm looking at the Nvidia Shield k1 and possibly the Asus ZenPad S 8.0 Z580CA as a possible replacement.

I just bought one of these..........least I think I did :hmm:........ erm but I might not have :huh........... or might have :-/........... actually......... Im not sure now .

heres the ebay link to my purchased item...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/162051514926?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

after purchase I was reading through the listing again when I noted something odd, The title says "hi8" clear as a bell, all well and good it seems.

but

the description constantly refers to "Vi8 plus", I figured maybe the specs were so similar the seller had just copy and pasted the wrong tab into the listing description, just to be on the safe side I checked on the Chuwi site for their list of tablets and sure enough there's the "Vi8 plus" but no sign of any "Hi8 plus"... it simply doesnt exist on there!

so you can kinda understand my confusion now!, what have I actually bought?...a hi8?!... maybe a Hi8pro mislisted?!?....... or a Vi8 plus?!?!   :blink

either way I think Ill have to contact the seller and ask them exactly what it is their sending me.......bet that question will get a few strange looks until I they figure out why Im asking lol

seller just confirmed its a Vi8-Plus, Legitimate Windows 10 model.

I was after a Hi8 but spec wise the Vi8 plus is superior and has all the capabilities I wanted out the Hi8 so Im not fussed.

dont think its a dual boot android & windows job but given that I wanted it for my quads and the occassional connection to my 3d printer windows 10  should work out alot more useful than an android based app for the same purposes.

..... I hope

Ok, I eventually found a surprisingly easy solution!

Found this thread: http://techtablets.com/forum/topic/any-way-to-flash-just-android-with-full-tutorial/
And downloaded the linked zip in the first reply.
Followed the instructions on the notepad and whalla, a fresh build, none of the touch-screen errors and all of the android. Perfect as a backup device for my inspire :D

(I'd recommend reading all of the instructions before starting if you do this as I thought I was stuck for ages but I missed a bit right at the end)

I know this is a bit of an old thread but I just bought a Chuwi Hi8 Pro dual boot tablet which has a screen res of 1920*1200.
I wanted it for field use for DJI assistant and Storm32/OlliW brushless gimbal controller software.
Installed both apps on the Win10 side of things (had to 'play' a bit to install the DJI unsigned drivers). Problem was that while they were usable the DJI had squished fonts and wasn't that easy to use and Olliw was missing calibration.
After a bit of searching I found the zoom was set to 200%. So set to 100%, reboot, open Dji and Olliw apps and then set back to 175% (I think 175% better than 200%). Bingo both apps sized correctly and usable as normal. ::)

Just thought I would post this in case anyone has issue in future.

Happy Flying

Just a quick update after first field use.
The tablet just fits in my back pocket  Went up the flying field and started setting up naza v2 gains. It was soo easy with the tablet. Take off, see how flies, land tweek gains and repeat.
So within 1 battery the F450 is flying soo much better.
Very pleased with the tablet just wish the Android partition was a little smaller and Win10 partition a little larger. Not much Win10 space for programs, but I am sure I will manage.

Cheers for everyone's help.
