  • Reman: Unlikely. I can't even see where the snapped end of the windings are. It looks like its fractured right where the enamel copper goes into the stator. I'd have to cook the stator off the bearing tower to get to it, And if I went that far I'd probabbly be better off re winding the whole stator instaid of doing a bodge.

  • ched999uk: Sugar reman, can't you resolder a wire onto the windings? You will need to remove teh coating.

  • Reman: Oh c0ck. :(  I've been building a lightweight 5" to use the 1900kv Multistar 1704's I salvaged off my first quad. The whole point of this build was to make something light enough to be fun with this particular set of motors........ Long story short, I've just managed to snap one of the windings tails off the stator on one of them. Short of rewinding the little b4stard, its scrap..... So once again, Oh c0ck ! :(

Hi Doug, I've used them, they're well known and been around long enough. A good and quick service. I've not had anything go wrong, but then haven't read anything bad about them either.

Yes I've used them, my medium sized hex is based on parts from them, no complaints ~~
Why use 4 motors when you can use 6?

Watch out for what packages the various dealers are offering.  The Taranis typically ships with a flight case and an X8R receiver.  Some cheap deals strip these away, so its the TX only.  By box breaking they make a bit more money than selling bundled.

Yes, Danny's right about that, although the 'flight' case is awful!  It now sits in my garage keeping the condensation off a bunch of lipo's.

the new case is much much better, its a sturdy beast now, rather than the cheap one that came with the first taranis'

Cheers

I think if you order after a certain time , then" next day" is day after -
So if you order late on a Thursday it won't get to you on Friday.
Will be posted Friday , should be with you Monday / today.

From the "shipping" section of the site:
Assuming you order before 15:00 we will usually get your order sent for delivery the next working day

I have ordered stuff from them without issue
