  • Reman: I just half woke up, opened my eyes to check the time. and while doing this I subconsciously noticed something wrong with the shape of shadows on the other side of the room. That woke me up with a jolt!!!  It seems I've got so used to seeing my camera hex perched up on the set of draws in the corner of my bedroom that the area now looks strangely empty without it (I took it apart on Sunday to begin the rebuild into its new Y6 frame)...... And now I'm wide awake at bloody half one in the morning....... And feeling like a paranoid pillock. :(

« on: August 11, 2017, 21:24:47 »
About 10 months ago i bought a used 7" screen with RX, then forgot i had it........now i find i am building my first dedicated FPV quad, old school TBS reptile clone, now i find i am looking at FPV goggles and fpv video`s on youtube, will i be happy with a bit of a plodder like the 500 or will i end up whizzing about the sky with a 250 rocket

Go for a 250 size,,,, you can plod with it, but when you feel the need, the need for speed, you can whip its little ass like a good un  ::)

Best practice for fpv is a micro for round the house, gogs on, screen/dvr set up for recording and your away in your own fpv world, highly recommend it.
Such fun

I had a simple fpv screen with my 350qx was great for setting up the shots or footage you wanted  ~~ then I tried my mates fpv racer and I wanted a lot more speed haha
can always move some of the gear over to a smaller quad anyway matey trust me once you try fpv you will be hooked

Yes they can  my AQ600 really surprised me last week, flipped it into atti mode and did a flat out speed run with it....way faster than my P3 in atti
