Re: Rabbit V1.220 Test Flight

I have test flown V1.220 all went well and the firmware flies nice PH carefree altitude hold baro and sonar all worked well  there is still a bug in the gui longitude readout for the gps,

While I was flying I didnt notice that I had stopped doing the carfree test with the copter facing me (nose in) I can fly nose in but not when you get caught out with it like this,
I went back up to do another PH (position hold test) and still didnt realise my mistake, turned off carefree while the copter was still the wrong way around and turned on PH, which worked fine, but when I turned off the PH and tried to fly back, every thing was in reverse, I moved the stick right but the copter went left, I started to panic as I didnt realise what was wrong, I put in left roll to get it back over my garden, and pulled the elvator back but this was reversed to and the copter moved away from me, more panic set in 
It ended up over the fence in next doors garden and went behind a tree for a few seconds, It then hit me what I had done and turned carefree back on and flew back to my self, and as can be seen in the video the copter was nose in white arms facing me when they should have been at the front, it all happens so quick in the video but when it went wrong it seemed like ages and I though I was going to loose it

And from that mistake now we have a reality how much stable is Rabbit and how much good works Care Free in this FW 1.220.
Of course with your experience you don't make the wrong, you give throttle and copter go up. Many people in this situation would do the opposite.

That is a very good video and just proves this firmware is very good, I also downloaded it  I bet your missing your rabbit now 

I have split it from the V1.218 test thread and put it in its own V1.220 hope you dont mind

First time i see fail safe with rabbit it is really good for us.
Aerobatic mode, rolls is very fun and stable. I can't understand if he is try Go Home and Auto Landing in one switch.
I am wait Ican from LF if he sent me translations from blue screens. If he do it i will put it in video.
