RcTimer RM450 V2 Clone Frame

I received my rctimer rm450 v2 clone frame through the post the other day and thought I would just share a couple of pics of the build,

The first thing different about the V2 over the V1 is the V2 has the built in power distribution board and is very usefull  ~~

The second thing I noticed was the lack of holes in the top plate for a flight controller although I suspect this is because the frame was designed to have the naza stuck to it, So I decided I would drill some holes for my self to be able to mount the flight controller on the top where I prefer it

Here's a picture of the main parts

[attach=1]

In these pictures you can see I have drilled 4 holes at the standard 45mm spacing to take the flight controller, the problem is the screws would interfear with the arms, so as can be seen I countersunk the holes under the plate and used some 3mm countersunk screws to hold the nylon stand offs in place so the arms just sat over the top of the screws

[attach=2][attach=3][attach=4]

I soldered on the power connector and esc's you can see the end of the arm sitting over the F/C screws

[attach=5][attach=6][attach=7]

The finished product well I forgot to put nuts on the stand offs and actually test flew it like that but it all went well, although I have a vibe problem caused by bent prop adapters, as soon as I fix them I will post a test flight video

I assume you slide the battery into the middle - Do you use the 2200mah turnigy lipos?
I have moved over to the 3000mah Zippy lipo which are flatter but wider and don't fit particularly well - hence why i mount my controller underneath the plate but with the same holes drilled.

Hi Ice yea I slide the pack in to the middle its held on a bit of velcro, I'm currently using flight power 2200mah nano lipo's   ~~
