Costings:

I had no luck finding the 1/2inch Wyes in Australia. I end up getting them from the states.
They only cost $1.20 each. (Though they hit me about $45 in freight.) So order plenty.
The 1/2inch PVC arms from Local Hardware Store for about $8.
The Aluminium brakets I got from Local Hardware Store  for about $15.
The Rubber grommets from Local Hardware Store for $10.
The Aluminium Rivets from Local Hardware Store for $5
The Screws and Nuts From Ebay. For $10.
The Landing gear From Local Hardware Store $10

So all up the frame cost me about $65. If you don't include the freight content.

The Hardware costs:

FCB: Rabbit Flight Controller From Aliexpress.com $150
Motors: Turnigy NTM 28-26 1200kv: From Hobbyking $16 each x8 = $128
ESC: Turnigy Plush 25 Amp.: From Hobbyking $13 each x8 = $104
Propellers: Gemfan 9x4.7
Battery: Zippy Flightmax 3s 5000mah 20c: From Hobbyking $22

Total Hardware cost: Approx $450
So total build cost: Approx $550

Very nice work. I can see i need to get myself a decent drill so that i can start to learn to make things with aluminium as i like your motor mounts.
One circlip short of a quadcopter.
1 lobe short of an antenna.
